Each time he fielded a call from a business broker, the owner of an outsource facility services firm became even more intrigued with the notion of selling the business and moving into retirement…only to become frustrated by the absence of tangible opportunity. When discussion with an insider executive led to a belief that a material outcome might develop, he contacted OT to guide him through the process with the buyer, accountants, and lawyers and for OT to negotiate the terms of the sale. This process resulted in a deal which enabled the owner to transition gradually from the business and to live full time in his Florida home and spend more time with family, traveling internationally, and playing golf.
